My First Day in Kapita

About 5 hours north of Lilongwe lies the district of Mzimba South East. Kapita is a large area comprised of 38 villages. The area is governed by a village head and the main source of income is farming of maize and coffee.

Development in Action

A concept coined by my friend Chawezi to help me understand the flexible nature of Malawian scheduling. The term initially surfaced when we were expecting to do our interviews with Kapita’s largest village.
